LG Not Launching Windows Phone 8 Devices – Goodbye LG

During a recent LG event, CEO Park Jong Seok told reporters that the company had “no specific plans for other mobile platforms”. This definitely means no Windows Phone going forward for now by LG. This can come back to haunt the OEM as Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8 are steadily approaching.

It is not like the OEM will be missed as far as Windows Phone is concerned. They were pretty much dead last when it came to the platform and didn’t bring anything new to the table.

The company really didn’t spark any mindshare either when it came to Windows Phone. For example, this is the first time we mention LG on this site since April.

Goodbye LG – You will be missed… sort of…
