Microsoft Fighting to Keep Windows Phone 8 on Schedule – Nokia Left WaitingSeptember 12, 2012 1 Comment
As we all wait impatiently for Windows Phone 8 and devices like the Lumia 920 and Samsung ATIV S, It looks like those companies, especially Nokia are playing the waiting game as well. Windows Phone 8 should of been launching early October but now they are fighting to launch it alongside Windows 8 on Oct. 29th according to TheVerge.
This is a huge deal for the likes of Nokia as they try to rebound with the Lumia 920. Thing is that since Microsoft still has Windows Phone 8 features under wraps, Nokia and others really can’t show of their phones as much as they would like. Nokia even had to get realy creative by sending a few media outlets (like us) a teaser for the 920, including key materials and information but no phone.
It is really important that Microsoft not only keeps the Windows Phone 8 launch as close to the Windows 8 launch as possible but also shows off what is under the WP8 hood so that phone companies can begin advertising and doing the same.
