IE: ‘Find on Page’ Option Returns on Windows Phone 8

September 11, 2012 No Comments

IE (IE8) had a feature when Windows Phone first launched called ‘Find on Page’. It helped you find information on the page you were navigating which became pretty useful to say the least. It then mysteriously went missing after the huge Mango update as the browser graduated to IE9. Now the feature looks to make a return as it showed up in one of Nokia’s presentations showing off the new phones with IE10.

I am sure that many of you will be hoping this feature makes it to the 7.8 update for all current handsets but because this has to do with the actual browser, I wouldn’t hold my breath.
