Microsoft Confirms New WP8 Features – Custom Accent colors, Custom Hubs and Native PhotoSynth

On Microsoft’s User Voice section, users continue to pour their requests for not only Windows Phone 7.8 but Windows Phone 8. Recently a few user requests were noted by Microsoft admins as ‘Planned”.


The following topics were marked as planned for Windows Phone 8:


Windows Phone 8 supporting Custom hubs and custom accents in addition to the ones that have been found already is huge news. Those are the two things that many Windows Phone fans have complained about since WP was born. Now baking Photosynth into Windows Phone makes a lot of sense since Microsoft introduced lenses.

These new features and a few more should help give consumers the feeling of more control and customization. Can’t wait to begin fixing up my Windows Phone 8 start screen.
