Nokia Teams Up With JBL For NFC Wireless Lumia Speakers (accessories)

New Windows Phone 8 handsets aren’t the only thing that Nokia will be showing off on September 5th. They have been working with Harman’s JBL to bring wireless NFC speakers as an accessory for the new Lumia line.
In a phone call, Hans Henrik Lund, head of accessories said…
“One of the areas growing really fast is headphones,”
“With Apple, they became a fashion element for consumers. The next category for fans is portable speakers because you want to bring the music with you.”
“Our channel partners make a bundle of profit from accessories,”
“I’m not here to sell accessories, I’m here to differentiate Lumia and the Lumia experience at retail.”
So there you have it, we will have the choice of purchasing some cool JBL wireless speakers with our new Windows Phone 8 handsets when the new Lumias arrive.
