Nokia Patents Futuristic Haptic System to Simulate Linear Motion

August 17, 2012 1 Comment

It is pretty early in the morning and it took me awhile to wrap my head around this new patent from Nokia. The patent calls for a haptic system that will be used to give the user motion feedback. The motion created is a feeling of of linear and circular movement which can be used for a whole new level of interaction with your ‘smartphone’. This tech can be used many ways, you can use it to interact with an application or even for a whole new level of route guidance for lets say… Nokia Drive.

This is definitely intense stuff and just the kind of forward thinking that will help secure Nokia’s future.
