Issues Updating Apps? Windows Phone Marketplace Issues?

Are you having trouble installing updates recently?

We have received a few inquired here and there asking if there was a problem with the Windows Phone Marketplace. A few folks seem to be getting stuck somewhere along the app installing the update. I thought it was a minor issue where a handful of readers were seeing the problem but it looks like they are not alone as some WMPU readers are getting the same error.

I am personally have no issues at the moment.

 

Any of you out there having problems installing updates recently?

    I have had issues with the marketplace in the past, but not recently. Is there a dotw on wp7 this week?

    Issues this morning trying to update Bing Translator and WhatsApp… download completes (50%) but installation fails (at 100% – “attention required”)

      I am having problem with the exact two apps. Mine just stuck at 75%.

    It is pretty strange. I completed one update on 8/12. But two more just failed today.

    Updates finished downloading, but could not pass the 75% install.

    I tried uninstall the app, and reinstall them. no help. Worst yet, I don’t have the apps I need to use now.

      That sucks… hopefully this will get resolved soon

      Me too. I am updating WhatsApp and Translator and both of them are failing. I tried to uninstall and reinstall that didn’t work either. Now I don’t have older version also. :(

    YES!!!
    Some apps work, some don’t.
    Try Installing Translator by Bing…

    I don’t have issues downloading updates. But the marketplace has been giving me false update notices. I’ll see a “1″, and go to check it out just to find nothing to update…

    Very weird… On the Lumia 900 everything updated smoothly. But on the Lumia 800 the updates are stopping at 75%.
    NB: the 900 has the 8779 firmeware, while the 800 still has the 8773.
    Could this be the thing?
    Please confirm.

      I have a backup phone here with 8112 and they installed fine…

    I have HTC HD7. And I am having trouble with two apps WhatsApp and Translator. Originally attempted an update but got the message “we’re having trouble installing this app.” They give 2 options, either to retry or remove the app and install it again. I did both still recieving same error.

    I have a HTC mozart and I just can’t seem to download WhatsApp. I used to have it but by mistake deleted it, and now I can’t get it back..
    And I’m from Brazil but I bought my HTC in Germany
