Home Depot Adds Windows Phone Inspired Kiosk to Stores

August 8, 2012 1 Comment

Looks like ‘thou who shalt not Be named’ (Metro) is spreading as this Windows Phone inspired kiosk has been found at a Home Depot. It is touch and the screen actually uses Live Tiles correctly to show more information.

Take a look:

No word yet if this kiosk will be placed in all Home Depot stores but hopefully this is a sign of things to come. Only good things can come out of things like this for Windows Phone and Windows 8. If this has inspred you to visit your local Home Depot, go ahead and download the free app which includes in store maps.
