What’s Up With Whatsapp? Will be Returning Soon (Details)
August 7, 2012 3 CommentsRecently the popular Whatsapp app vanished from the Marketplace. Shortly after that we had some Whatsapp Windows Phone 8 images that took everyones attention away for a bit. Now it has been revealed that the reason the application was pulled was because of security according to MonWindowsPhone.
Last week, the German site ComputerBild was able to retrieve messages sent via WhatsApp. So now the company has pulled the app and began working on security which includes adding encyrption to the messages sent via the app.
We should be seeing the app back in the Marketplace soon enough. Till then…. KIK anyone?
Enjoy!
