Nokia X Running Windows Phone 8 Coming in September? N-Gage to Return?

August 4, 2012 3 Comments

It took me awhile to absorb this information as it was not only shocking but very hard to believe. MyNokiaBlog was tipped recently by an anonymous source that Nokia was working on a Windows Phone 8 device called Nokia X and that it would be available in September.

The “Lumia X” Features:

  • HD Amoled Clear Black
  • Windows phone 8 OS
  • powered by Snapdragon S4
  • 8 millionpixel resolution camera
  • carl zeiss lens
  • camera rotates
  • dedicated keys for playing games

The image above is a cross between a Lumia and a Nokia 5700 created by MyNokiaBlog to depict the rotating camera. If this rumor is true however, try to image the phone with a slightly bigger screen and a much thinner body.

Another part of this rumor is that the N-Gage is supposedly making its return. The half handheld gaming system and half cellphone flopped ages ago but would a version of the N-Gage work now. Would Xbox Live make it an even better device?

Here is the full email that MyNokiaBlog received in their mailbox…

New Nokia Windows phone 8 to be launched in September.

I got it from my friend.
He worked at Nokia Design Studio (not mention name).
He talks about how the new equipment, both of LUMIA more interesting than Samsung, HTC and Huawei.

In addition, he said LUMIA X has a screen resolution HD Amoled Clear Black, Windows phone 8 OS, powered by Snapdragon S4,
8 millionpixel resolution camera carl zeiss lens, that can rotate the camera itself.
There are dedicated keys for playing games on the top & can be twisted to access music quickly.
He also tells of the N-GAGE is back again.
Data is designed to stay in the lab.
I was excited to try this. Not sure if it is true that much.
If the information is incorrect. Apologize for any inconvenience that this.

What do you guys think?
