‘Skulls of the Shogun’ Coming This Fall – First Game to Have Asynchronous XBLA & Cross-Platform PlayJune 29, 2012 2 Comments
We first spotted ‘Skulls of the Shogun’ last year as it was poised to launch on Windows Phone fall of 2011. Since then the game has seen its ups and downs as the small team looked for publishers for their great looking game. Now the game is ready to finally launch alongside Windows 8 and it will be doing it in style.
‘Skulls of the Shogun’ will be first game to have asynchronous XBLA play and cross-platform play. Which means that you will be able to play ‘Skulls of the Shogun’ across all Windows devices plus stop and pickup play where you left off an another (windows) device. Also folks on different Windows devices will be able to play against each other.
The game will feature:
- 15-20 hour single player campaign
- 20 in-depth levels
- 30 multiplayer maps with dedicated two, three, and four player maps
You can see the game in action while it was being developed last year here. Hopefully Microsoft has a special bundle pricing in the works where you can purchase the game for all the systems at a discount.
