What Will Microsoft Announce at the Windows Phone Developer Summit

June 20, 2012 1 Comment

Two months ago, Microsoft began sending out save the date invites to the Windows Phone ‘Developer Summit’ in San Fransisco CA. Finally the event will be taking place today on June 20th and it will continue through the 21st. What will be announced today for Windows Phone? That is a tough question but we do have a few ideas as to what it will cover…

Windows Phone 8 (Apollo): It will be sure to cover the next installment of Windows Phone

Upgrades: Microsoft I think will be forced to tackle the issue of upgrades. Will all Windows Phones be upgradable? If so then to what extent?

Native Development: This is something that devs have been asking for and i am pretty positive that Microsoft will be speaking up on the issue.

Skype: Baked into Windows Phone 8

Resolution: Will they add additional resolutions like 720×1280?

New Hardware: This is more of me hoping they do but it is definitely a stretch

We would love to hear your guesses as to what Microsoft will be announcing today.

Let us know…
