Yammer Agrees to be Sold to Microsoft for 1.2 Billion

June 15, 2012 2 Comments

According to the Wall Street Journal, Yammer Inc. has agreed to sell itself to Microsoft Corp. for $1.2 billion. However no one is too sure as to when the deal will be completed or announced. The Windows Phone application can be found here but there are rumblings around the internet that the service may be baked into the Windows Phone 8 platform.

Hopefully we will get something more official in the next couple of days.
