Microsoft Files for Split Dual-Screen Patent – Future Windows Phone?

June 7, 2012 1 Comment

A while back we saw Microsoft unviel a video of their concept of tech in the future.
It was filled with Metro and amazing multi-tasking devices.

Last year they filed for a patent for a dual screen device with peripherals. Now they actually have filed for the Split dual screen device from the video.

This would be the ultimate multi-tasking device as you can have a conversation with someone, have them send you directions to a place and you can detach the device in two parts to continue the conversation and map out the address.

One can only hope to be alive to see such an amazing device come to life.
