Sony Ericsson Windows Phone Prototype Caught on Camera

June 3, 2012 1 Comment

A video of an unannounced Sony Ericsson Windows Phone device has recently emerged on YouTube. Called the “Julie” (or “Jolie”), it seems ergonomic and functional enough, though certainly in-development and work-in-progress, as can be seen below.
While it’s not entirely surprising that Sony Ericsson was testing a WP7 smartphone (indeed, we’ve seen another experimental Windows Phone from them before), it’s a bit unexpected – we haven’t heard of any WP developments from Sony Mobile (a restructured Ericsson) in quite a while. Hopefully, they were persuaded to reconsider their stance on Windows Phone, and will launch a beautiful new WP8 Apollo slider later this year.
