The official ‘Crunchyroll’ app landed on Windows Phone not too long ago but folks couldn’t even take a look inside the app without having a premium account to the service. Now the app has been updated and allows users to roam around and use the service as guests.

CrunchyRoll reminds us though that you will only be able to see the latest and greatest with a premium subscription.

With a Premium membership:
* Watch new episodes 1-hour after airing in Japan
* Watch over 3G and 4G network
* No ads
* Access to 720p HD and DVD quality videos (1080p on newer series) on our website, crunchyroll.com
Reminder: The app is free but the service is $6.95 a month. They do have a free trial available for 14 days. You can also use your .edu email and signup free for 30 days.

You can check out the Crunchyroll service here.
