Photosynth for Windows Phone V1.0 Already in the Wild – Coming Soon?

May 15, 2012 1 Comment

I can’t believe I am writing this half way into 2012 but here it is.

Microsoft’s own Photosynth should be available for all soon. The popular photo-stitching application captures images in full 3D, much more powerful than panorama in my opinion. Photosynth which is already available for IOS (which is why I can’t believe that we still don’t have the app) has been getting tested for Windows Phone using a dedicated unknown twitter account.

If you look closely at the employees screen you can see the words “Windows Phone Only” and “AugmentedReality”. Now that is something to really try and wrap your head around.

Hopefully we will get more information soon as well as maybe a release date.
