ZTE Prefers Windows Phone Over Android – Will Bring Windows Phone to U.S. by Years End

May 9, 2012 1 Comment

First it was AT&T and now its ZTE… Android can’t buy any love right now.

ZTE’s head of the North American business, Lixin Cheng, prefers the Windows Phone OS over Android from a users point of view. Speaking to CNET he said…

“In my personal experience, the iPhone, of course, has a well-polished user interface experience,” Cheng told CNET. “And then Windows, and then Android.”

Makes sense since it was noted previously that even the new quadcore Samsung Galaxy S3 still lagged behind a single core Windows Phone. He later went on to explain that when Windows Phone launched, Microsoft was tight on specifications. After seeing how well budget phones have done for Microsoft lately, Microsoft has loosened up on minimum hardware specifications.
