Nokia Responds to Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd LLP Class Action Suit
May 4, 2012 1 CommentWe mentioned earlier today that Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd LLP filed a Class Action Suit against Nokia and its top officers. This comes at a time when Nokia’s stocks are down but sales of their Lumia 900 are looking very positive.
Nokia has replied to the suit via a press release:
Espoo, Finland – Nokia has become aware of the filing of a securities class action complaint naming Nokia Corporation as a defendant, filed in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York on May 3, 2012. Nokia is reviewing the allegations contained in the complaint and believes that they are without merit. Nokia will defend itself against the complaint.
Their response comes of no surprise to me as sales of the Lumia 900 look promising and Nokia’s board are all in on their Windows Phone gameplan.
