Was Nokia Behind This Apple Store Protest?? “WAKE UP”? (video)

April 30, 2012 No Comments

Some are speculating that this video below could be the handy work of Nokia. I for one wouldn’t put this past them since they have already shown very ballsy marketing and campaigning. It features a mob of people getting out of black vans and protesting in front of an Apple store in Australia. Yelling and holding up signs that said “Wake Up!”.

There was some kind of protest or demonstration at the Sydney Apple store today… apparently somebody wants someone to “WAKE UP”….

However, a few things points another direction when trying to see if this is really from Nokia. One is the fact that the matching website wake-up-australia.com.au, is counting down to a date where it would be to soon for the Lumia 900 to launch in Australia. The 2nd is the fact that in this video, it briefly shows the iPad with the wakeup signs in the backdrop so I am guessing that whoever is involved is backing a tablet.

I do not think this was done by Nokia but I definitely wouldn’t put it passed Nokia to be involved with something like this…
