Nokia’s Lumia 900 Already 10% of All Windows Phones in the Wild? (US)April 25, 2012 1 Comment
Sales for the Lumia 900 have been a hot topic for tech sites as the phone doing well is of high importance for Microsoft and Nokia. There are tons of signs that point to the Lumia 900 selling very well as AT&T can’t even keep 2 out of the 3 colors in stock.
Another way we can track down clues as to how the device is doing, is by taking a look at game info provided by developers. Take a look the data provided by ‘Candy Rufus Games’ the developers of the popular game SurvivalCraft.
The data above shows that 10% of SurvivalCraft players own a Lumia 900, impressive for a device that just launched just earlier this month. Even more surprising is that fact that it has passed the HTC HD7 and already has almost half of the same users that the ever popular Samsung Focus.
Now these stats do not translate exactly into sale numbers but they do give a strong indication on how sales are going. Better yet, they directly represent the breakdown of Windows Phone devices in the wild in comparison to eachother. How long will it take the Lumia 900 to surpass the Samsung Focus?
Can’t wait to find out…
