Comcast, HBO and MLB.tv Apps Arrive Today on Xbox 360

March 27, 2012 1 Comment

Months after Live TV and On Demand from cable companies were announced for Xbox 360, Fios finally has some company as Comcast, HBO and MLB.tv finally land on the Xbox 360 today. HBO Go and MLB.tv services will be familiar since their apps have been seen on other platforms, while the Xfinity TV app will pretty much be what we can already see on a PC.

Hopefully we can start getting all of this on Windows Phone as well.

I am very happy to hear HBO GO has made its way to Xbox. I’m a subscriber to DISH now and just signed up for HBO on my account, so now having an extra way to watch all my favorite content from there, is definitely a plus in my book. I’m excited for it because I was severely behind on the first season of Game of Thrones and finally had the chance to catch up last night, through my Xbox, right in time before the new season starts! Some of my coworkers at DISH are saying Comcast customers aren’t able to get the HBO GO app on their Xbox’s, so that makes me extremely happy I made the switch over to DISH a few months ago. I can’t wait to explore all the movies and have a movie marathon this weekend! :)
