Ben Rudolph Stands Behind ‘Smoked by Windows Phone’ – Still Offers Apology & Prize

March 26, 2012 2 Comments

We wrote about a case this morning about someone who participated in the ‘Hunger Games’ themed ‘Smoked by Windows Phone’ event this past weekend and accused the random Microsoft Store employee of cheating. Then Ben Rudolph (better known as Ben the PC Guy) tweeted stating that Microsoft will make it right.

Now we know how they plan on making it right as the ‘victim’ will recieve the $1,000 Special Edition Hunger Games laptop and a Windows Phone.

BEN::  Hey @sahaskatta , @Microsoftstore & I want to make things right. So I’ve got a laptop & phone (& apology) for you. Email me!

Ben also let everyone know that he still backs #smokedbywindowsphone 100%

BEN:: I stand behind #smokedbywindowsphone wins (and losses) 100%…even when I’m not the one doing the challenges. And always will!

I hope this doesn’t slow down the great idea which was ‘Smoked by Windows Phone’ as even with this small hiccup is a great idea to push Windows Phone forward.
