New Nokia Firmware Already Rolling Out for Lumia 800 – Tripling Battery Performance?

We posted before about how there was a firmare update from Nokia for the Lumia 800 in the wild. Then we posted about how this update also takes care of battery issues and other little bugs.
Firmware tackles:
- Battery drain issue has been fixed
- Lack of audio Bass when listening through headsets has been addressed
- Auto-white balance issue with the camera has been fixed
- Hardware buttons backlights are now always illuminated at all available screen brightness levels
- Diagnostics app has been updated to prevent users from receiving misleading technical readouts about their device
- Camera
- Smart group shot
- Panorama
- Action
- Self Timer
Now over at the XDA, they are noting that the new firmware (1600.2487.8107.12070) is rolling out in Singapore. The battery issue is the biggest reason to update your Lumia 800 as some are claiming that battery has improved 3x over.
No word yet when everyone else will be getting the update.
