Pinball FX2, the Xbox Live Arcade mega hit title is coming soon to the Windows Phone platform. When it comes, it will bring the first Xbox live title with the ability to play from a whole incredible lineup of pinball tables (i.e DLC) and for the first time, a feature touted as asynchronous multi-player. Those who are familiar with turn based games know the term and the concept, but what is interesting is that this will be the first post “Mango” game to release with the feature as well as a more interesting feature that lets you have a “Connected experience across all platforms”. One can only hopes that, that means a long awaited synchronization that will in turn allow players to pickup a where they left off in games, or essentially allow players to carry content and settings over from one platform to another.
Next we have up the award-winning tile-based board game by Klaus-Jürgen Wred coming to your Windows Phone soon. Just a few years after its release, Carcassonne became a modern classic and a must-play. Turn by turn, the players create a landscape by placing tiles with roads, cities, fields, and cloisters. The players deploy their followers – knights, monks, thieves, or farmers – to earn points. The player with the most points after the final scoring wins the game. The ever-changing landscape makes each game a new experience. With the official expansion The River II, Online Multiplayer, XBOX Live Achievements, Leaderboards and more, this game never gets old!
These games might be the beginning of something beautiful. Stay tuned for more details!
