Finally: Photosynth for Windows Phone is in Testing

February 25, 2012 No Comments

Usually we get bothered or upset when a Windows Phone application gets ported over to IOS or Android. Photosynth however, is a Microsoft product that has launched on IOS and has never seen the light of day on Windows Phone.

The imaging application was once said to be still not possible due to API’s needed in Mango. However it has been quite awhile since Mango’s release and yet still no app.

Looks like this drama is finally coming to an end as the website gemind.com has (like the app itself) put everything together and connected the dots. They have found various clues that point to Photosynth actually already developed for Windows Phone and now being in testing.

Hopefully the testing phase doesn’t take too long as it is pretty ridiculous that this app isn’t already available on its own platform.
