Microsoft Expanding ‘Smoked by Windows Phone’ to Advertisements
February 21, 2012 1 CommentSmoked By Windows Phone started as a small contest at CES 2012. It challenged folks to beat Windows Phone at normal everyday tasks with their current smartphones. Then it grew to #smokedbywindowsphone on twitter as the word started spreading that Windows Phone was indeed much faster at these tasks than Android and iPhone. Microsoft even began to educate carrier employees using the same technique.
Now Microsoft has played it smart by making Smked by WIndows Phone an advertisment.
The 12 different ads will run through different tech sites as well as the Windows Phone Facebook page beginning April 2012.
