February 19, 2012 No Comments

Windows Phone site WPDang is reporting that the newest of the Windows Phone updates, Tango, will be making it’s way to China in March. The update will have special modifications included:

  • Tango of China would have the Xbox Live function removed
  • WeiBo (Chinese version of Twitter) and RenRen (Chinese version of Facebook) would be used to replace Twitter and Facebook which cannot be accessed in China
  • Bing search result would be based on a combination of Bing and BaiDu, the Chinese no.1 search engine

We keep getting more and more information on this Tango update, so far there is mixed info regarding the types of devices it will be running on. Only time will tell the specifics revolving around the Tango update. At least this little bit of information tells us that the moment of truth is drawing near.
