Skype App Should Be Arriving Soon – Beta On It’s Way?

An email from an anonymous contact over at Microsoft has been exposed recently by wp7lab. The email contains information on the progress Microsoft has been making to make Skype available on Windows Phone.
“Skype for Windows Phone is just around the corner and we’ve teamed up with the Skype folks to help with beta testing. If you are receiving this newsletter directly, look for an invitation in the coming weeks and be on the inside track for what is sure to be one of the hottest new apps on the Marketplace!”
This note is supposedly an internal email making its rounds around Microsoft. Hopefully this is all true as it would make perfect sense for Microsoft to begin testing the app first internally.
