WhatsApp Updated – Fixes Nasty Media Bug

- Unread message count in chats pivot
- Improve behavior when receiving photos on EDGE networks
- Able to add unrecognized users to device contacts
- Able to forward messages
- Update status in UI when successfully setting your own status
- When creating a group, able to remove users from initial list of invitees
- Confirmation prompt when inviting a user to a group
- Fix sort order in group chat invite screen
- Workaround for “no text” problem caused by Advanced Configuration tool
- es-ES localization
In the process however the developers ended up breaking the viewing of received media. Luckily it has just been updated yet again to fix that nast media bug. The app itself is calling the update version 1.7 but the change-log it calling it 1.6.2.
Whatever is however you can download the update now, They have also thrown in a few more fixes like
- Ability to read and change group icon
- Improved scrolling behavior
