Website Claims Skype and Google Plus to arrive Baked in Tango Update
January 29, 2012 No CommentsEveryone is dying to get their hands on Skype for Wndows Phone at the moment, especially since Microsoft now owns Skype. PocketPC.ch is reporting however that the wait is due to the fact that Skype & Google + will be making their way to Windows Phone via the Tango update.
PocketPC.ch has a great track record but this badly photoshopped image is creating alot of questions surrounding the issue.
“In this early beta phase, the implementation of Skype and G + is still rather experimental. Telephoning via Skype seems to work not as yet, but it is prepared. G + chat and Skype chat work but already well. The front camera, which will be the next generation of Windows phones standard, is included in the Skype video calling. It is thus possible to receive video calls and to make, but in the pre beta with some problems and crashes. That Google Hangout, the video calling G +, will also follow, is likely, but the timing is still unclear, given that the API of G + is still not so far advanced, to make this possible.” – PocketPC.ch (translated through Bing)
Not sure what to think of this one but I hope their is some truth behind it all. At this point I don’t really care how it gets here at first as long as it gets here soon.
