Rumor: Tango Update to Bring Custom Folders as Live Tiles – Smaller Media Controls

January 19, 2012 1 Comment

We all know by now that the next big update to Windows Phone has been dubbed Tango. Tons has been rumored about the update but this one to me rings way more true as it is something that a lot of people have asked for.

mymicrosoftlife is reporting that an anonymous source have tipped them to a few tidbits of tango goodness.

The first rumor is that Microsoft will be enabling Windows Phone users the ability to create live tile folders to group apps together. The 2nd piece of   news is that the media controls will be shrunk height wise to take up less space.

I know many of you want/need folders on your Windows Phone but I personally like the way I naviagete my phone as is. I do however love the fact that Microsoft might be making this an option at least for those who want it.

Thanks J for the tip!
