CES 2012: Windows Phone Wins 88% of #smokedbywindowsphone Challenges

We all know by now that Microsoft held a #smokedbywindowsphone challenge at CES 2012 where people would put their smartphone up against Windows Phone to see which was faster. Now Ben Rudolph has posted the full results of the challenge.

Overall, our win/loss record for the show was:

• 30 wins
• 3 losses
• 1 draw

Ben was even nice enough to tell us which devices Windows Phone beat out and which ones it beat by a hair.

• Phones we beat: A few each of iPhone 4, iPhone 4s, Galaxy Nexus, ATT Skyrocket, Droid Charge, Droid Bionic, various BlackBerries, Palm Pre Plus.
• Phones that beat us: iPhone 4s (posted a picture to twitter just a hair faster), Droid Bionic (got an SMS to a friend a smidge faster than I did), and Galaxy Nexus (also posting a photo to Twitter)

I think this was a great idea to promote Windows Phone and 30 to 3 is not a bad record at all.
