SMS Bug Detected: Microsoft is Testing Fix

December 28, 2011 No Comments

Earlier this month, a rare bug was uncovered on Windows Phone. It had to do with specific text being displayed through SMS that will disable your Windows Phone. Shortly after, Microsoft made public that they were looking into the issue.

Now Salameh, the Windows Phone user that found the issue in the first place has tweeted that Microsoft has confirmed the SMS bug and they are now testing a solution.

That was a pretty fast chain of events and I am glad Microsoft did not hesitate to look into the issue and find a fix so quickly.
