Microsoft: Windows Live Messenger Forgets Windows Phone Exists

December 20, 2011 2 Comments

Windows Live Messenger has some ‘splainin to do. Recently an advertisement for Windows Live Messenger for iPhone had something quite significant missing, the mention of its availability for Windows Phone. Now I don’t mind overlooking little mistakes, but this mistake is huge! How could Windows Live Messenger forget about its own mobile OS when mentioning platforms that it is available on? If a division of your company can easily forget another division then how can you possibly expect consumers to remember you. This is a complete fail by the Windows Live team.

Thanks to Colin for the tip!

And it shows 3 phones, iPhone is one of them, Windows Phone is one of them, but the iPhone is in the middle and fronted.
