Nokia’s ESPN App 10x Better Than Our Current App – Available a Week After Christmas

December 14, 2011 3 Comments

Nokia has finally landed in the US with the official announcement of the Nokia Lumia 710 on T-Mobile. At the small press event here in NYC to kick off the festivities. We are being shown a few demo Lumia 710′s.

While getting some great images of the upcoming Nokia Lumia 710 on T-Mobile I got a quick glimpse of ESPN for Windows Phone powered Nokia devices.

Nokia/ESPN did a phenomenal job on the application as its fluid, Intuitive and is blazing fast. The ESPN app is still in beta so we couldn’t get a picture of the application but I can tell you that it feels really smooth and looks alot better than the official ESPN app on windows phone.

I also was told that the ESPN app for Nokia devices will be out a week after Christmas and will come preloaded on all Nokia devices from then on out.

Man, I really hate that Nokia keeps pushing out these great apps that I don’t have access to. I really hope they expand them to all WP7 devices soon.

as they promised. true that. not what i wanted from them. it was expectable, but it’s not cool.

Nokia must choose between keeping their apps exclusive to lure potential users versus releasing them to the community to spread their brand.

I vote for the latter ;)
