AT&T, Verizon Testing 4G LTE Nokia Lumia 800?

December 12, 2011 No Comments

As we all wait for more news on the rumored Nokia Lumia 900 (Ace), it looks like the Lumia 800 still has a few tricks up its sleeves. CNET is reporting that the Lumia 800 with 4G LTE onboard is being tested by AT&T & Verizon. All parties are refusing to comment on the matter but it does make alot of sense. Microsoft has promised to support LTE on Windows Phone early 2012 and it looks like carriers will be more willing to promote Windows Phone when it does.

Nokia has worked hard on marketing the Nokia Lumia series overseas and I am sure they want to have LTE when they start making the Lumia 800 and possibly the 900 available in the US. Their middle tier Lumia 710 is rumored to be making an appearance on T-Mobile this week.
