Nokia Lumia 800 Named Phone of the Year

November 18, 2011 No Comments

The Nokia Lumia 800 just officially started selling yesterday and already it has been crowned the Phone of the year by a well known media outlet.

What Mobile Awards 2011 held at London’s Whisky Mist, named the Nokia Lumia 800 Mobile of the year after thousands of readers voted for their favorite new phones and apps October on the magazine’s website. Editor Richard Melville stated:

“It’s no secret that Nokia make great phones but with a new Windows Phone Mango operating system, great design and a competitive price, the Lumia 800 feels like real innovation for smartphones and, importantly, one that’s cool enough to attract everyone from gadget geeks to casual, fashion conscious phone users.”

Congrats to Nokia on making such a beautiful device that many overseas are very excited about. I really can’t wait for Windows Phone powered Nokia devices to hit the US.
