November 14, 2011 No Comments

Back in July we gave you guys the heads up that a new fun game has hit Windows Phone called Star Ninja. Since then the game has seen its fair share at the top of the charts. Now Bounding Box game, the developers of Star Ninja have notified me that a free version is now available in a Mango flavor of course.

Star Ninja was developed by Bounding Box Games which was founded by Eric Cosky who has been in the gaming industry for 14 years and has worked on such games as Red Dead Redemption, EverQuest, Earth & Beyond and others.

The game is now completely free – enjoy!!!

Star Ninja is a physics based ricochet genre game where you bounce throwing stars around a level to knock out the all the Pirates in order to proceed to the next level. Well presented family friendly fun with 50 levels of cute animations, ragdoll physics and talking pirates.

There are four game modes: Focus, Frenzy, Campaign and Speed Run. Focus mode has a limited number of stars to throw per level with a time based bonus at the end for finishing quickly. Frenzy mode has unlimited stars to throw, but a limited amount of time to use them. Score in Frenzy mode is based on how much time it takes to clear the level. Campaign and Speed Run modes are essentially long-form versions of Focus and Frenzy, except you play from levels 1 to 50 and the score is cumulative over all the levels. Progress is saved so you can continue the series at any time.
