Nokia Working With AT&T to Bring LTE With Lumia 800

November 10, 2011 2 Comments

We have heard before that LTE on Windows Phone would be available sometime in 2012. TheVerge though is reporting that Nokia has delayed it’s US launch because it wants to attack the US with LTE. They are also reporting that Nokia is working closely with AT&T to make this happen with the Lumia 800.

Windows Phone Mango as of now does not support LTE. In order for this to happen, Microsoft would have to drop some extra code to Nokia branded devices or Nokia might just start its launch with the upcoming Tango update.

Should Nokia wait to drop LTE goodness for the US or should they begin their launch as soon as possible? I honestly don’t know the right answer to that but hopefully their plan of attack works out.
