Nokia Lumia 710 Coming to T-Mobile US in January? Sword?

November 2, 2011 No Comments

It looks like the Nokia Lumia 710 will be making its way to T-mobile US early next year.

Tmonews is reporting that the Nokia Lumia 710 will be available on magenta in January. Now I am sure we all hoped that it was the Nokia Lumia 800 but it is important to also have mid range devices available as they tend to sell very well with the non-techie crowd. The only thing is that out of HTC’s two offering, T-Mobile will be selling the cheaper one of those as well (HTC Radar).

Tmonews is also speculating that the device is now going around with the codename ‘sword’.

So far it looks like T-Mobile will be only offering mid-range Windows Phones. No offense to the Nokia Lumia 710 but as a T-Mobile customer, I do not yet have a top of the line Windows Phone to choose from.

Specs:

  • 3.7″ WVGA 800×480 TFT touchscreen
  • 5 megapixel camera
  • 512MB RAM
  • 8GB internal storage
  • 1.4GHz Single Core MSM8255 processor
  • 1300mAh battery
