Apps: OctroTalk (Google Talk client)

OctroTalk is a Google Talk client that has recently hit the Windows Phone marketplace. Its a standalone app and from my brief handling of Octrotalk it seems to work really well. For those of you that really need a great Google Talk client on Windows Phone, this may be it. Remember though that it only supports Gtalk. The app also costs $4.99 so you may want to just try out IMplus or just wait this one out.
I doubt that this app will stay prices at $4.99 for too long. IM plus itself cost $9.99 when it first launched then it cut the price to $4.99 shortly after. A few weeks later it then made a free version.
Thank god there is a trial version though for those wanting to take it on a test run.

Octrotalk version 1.0 is a Google Talk client for Windows Phone 7, which allows you to stay logged in to the Google Talk service, and receive incoming messages via push (in case app is not running in the foreground).
OctroTalk supports both tile and push notifications.
