Microsoft Releases New “Great to be a Family” Ads (video)
October 17, 2011 No CommentsMicrosoft has released their ads from their new “Great to be a Family” campaign. They all include Microsoft products integrated for one use and all include ‘family moments’. This one below is called ‘epic share’ the first to include the Windows Phone, in which they use the WP7 device to snap a picture an share.
“While dad is playing Dance Central 2 for Xbox 360 with Kinect, his kids capture his moves and edit them into a hilarious Movie Maker video. Thanks to Microsoft, dad’s funny dancing can be watched over and over. It’s a great time to be a family.”
Even-though this isn’t the new Windows Phone campaign, it really makes me nervous as to the direction they are going. I’m really not liking this campaign either, the idea might be solid but it gets lost in the translation. It really comes off as a bit cheesy.
