Acer’s Allegro Windows Phone to be Released This Holiday in Europe

We all love to get all excited about the latest and greatest Windows Phone hardware. In order for Windows Phone to start making a really big dent in the market though we really need tons of solid mid-range devices. With that said, the Acer Allegro (which wpcentral is reporting as the Acer W4 in disguise) should be making its way to Europe the later this year. Telecompaper is reporting that the Acer Allegro will be launching this holiday season for EUR 299.

Acer Allegro/W4 Specs:

  • 3.6-inch WVGA Capacitive screen,
  • Screen Resolution: 480×800
  • 5mp Camera with auto-focus.
  • HSPA 850/1900 or 900/2100 /GSM quad band 850/900/ 1800/ 1900 MHz Support.
  • Qualcomm MSM 8255 running at 1GHz (same processor as in the Xperia Play)
  • Wifi, Bluetooth 2.1
  • DLNA Support
  • Windows Phone Mango
  • 8GB Storage
