Microsoft Dedicated to Make “Window Phone the best camera you will ever own”

Good news for Windows Phone users, It looks like Microsoft is getting really serious about their camera phones. In a job listing yesterday, Microsoft is asking for someone to help them make “Window Phone the best camera you will ever own”.

I know many people that are eager for Nokia branded Windows Phones to take care of their picture taking needs since Nokia devices have amazing cameras. It is nice to know however that the picture taking experience will be only getting better throughout the whole Windows Phone ecosystem.

We need great people to bring our big vision to reality. Be a part of a team working on new experiences for the phone! You will be responsible for driving the quality of your feature areas. You will work closely with your partners in PM and development, and will be engaged throughout all phases of the product cycle. Responsibilities include architecture and design, test automation development in both C++ and C#, participation in design/code reviews, creation of test tools, and helping to innovate the way we verify quality in our products. You will have plenty of opportunities to contribute to groundbreaking products and grow your skills.š

Requirements:

– Bachelor’s degree or higher in a Computer Science or related technical discipline or equivalent experience

– 5 years of experience developing and testing software

– Strong coding skills in C# or C/C++š

– Strong problem solving, testing and debugging skills

– Good communication and cross-group collaboration skills

– Ability to work both independently and collectively in a fun team environment

– High capacity to learn and adapt to new technologies and engineering processes quicklyš

The following will be considered a plus:

– Knowledge of Mobile devices, development tools

– Passion for the camera or graphic space
