How to Tell If My Samsung Focus is V1.3 or V1.4

With Mango rolling out worldwide and pretty impressively may I add. AT&T has announced that the Samsung Focus will update to Mango in 2 parts. Version 1.3 will update to Mango immediately and version 1.4 will update to Mango some time late in October.

The problem is that some Samsung Focus users do not know which version of the Samsung Focus they own as they wait for the Mango update.

Personally I know of 2 different ways you can tell which version of the Samsung Focus you are holding:

• Under the Battery: It should say either version 1.3 or 1.4 between the sku and serial number to the right side of the sticker
• In Diagnosis (##634# in Dialer), enter *#32489#
  press Back button on the screen 4 times until you see:
  1. debug screen
  2. version information
  3. here, type 2 (version info) after, select 2 (HW version) after, select 1 (Read HW version)

Hopefully this will help some Samsung Focus owners in waiting for Mango. Remember V1.3 users will get Mango now (you can always force it), V1.4 users are out of luck until next month. (AT&T)
