Microsoft Rolling Out “Pre-Cleanup” Update – No Rollback Needed For Mango Beta Users?

Well this news has just made my morning…

News of an update called ‘Mango Friends and Family Bundle: Pre-Cleanup’ has grown rampant across the Internet today as some users are receiving a pre update to Mango. The update in question is for users that have a beta version of Mango installed on their devices. This is great news for all the devs out there that had installed Mango on their Windows Phones a few months back. This should mean that no one gets left behind and that we should be able to upgrade to Mango without having to roll all the way back to NoDo.

This is also welcomed news for users that have ‘lost’ their NoDo backups. Hopefully all of you that have a Beta version of Mango installed on your Windows Phone should be receiving an update like the one above soon.
