Mango App: TransparenTXT

September 23, 2011 No Comments

TransparenTxt is an app meant for the Windows Phone user that would like nothing better than walking around while texting. The app makes your texting screen seem transparent by using your devices camera.  The app is pretty cool when you think about it, giving the illusion that you are simply texting in air. It does have its quirks to iron out like the lack of auto-correct but with a bit of work, it can easily end up a 5 star app.

Take a look at a video of it being in use provided by 1800pocketpc.

TransparenTxt costs $2.49 in the marketplace but a free trial is available

App Info:
TransparenTXT is the solution for the text-walker.

If you SMS and walk using a Windows Phone, then TransparenTXT provides a see-through messaging window and keyboard on top of the live image from your camera. TransparenTXT allows you to see what is in-front of you (and behind the phone) when composing messages could allow you to spot that obscured obstacle!

Never use your phone to message with TransparenTXT whilst driving or in control of machinery.  We recommend you stop to compose and enjoy the view.
