September 23, 2011 No Comments

Thanks to a lot of digging by wpcentral, we know have the full details on how this AT&T Mango update will go down. Not only are they on time with the updates this time around, they are starting in a week. September 27 is when AT&T will start rolling out the Mango update to its current devices. All you have to do it download the latest and greatest Zune software and plug-in your Windows Phone.

Here are the details –

Starting September 27 the following devices will be updated to Mango

  • HTC Surround (SKU 65212)
  • LG Quantum (SKU 65205)
  • Samsung Focus (SKU 65203)  – Version 1.3

First Half of October

  • HTC HD7S (SKU 65255)

End of October

  • Samsung Focus – Version 1.4

This all seems like a full blown out plan and according to WPcentral it is directly from higher ups at AT&T and a verified anonymous source. All consumers have been asking for is a bit of transparency as far as updates are concerned and I am very glad that we are finally getting that. Hopefully AT&T will put together some kind of official announcement soon.
