Nokia Getting Ready For Windows Phone – Replaces Ovi Branding to Nokia On Store

September 16, 2011 No Comments

A few months ago, Nokia announced that it would be shedding its Ovi branding and using the Nokia name instead. Ovi Store, Ovi Maps, etc. was to be nothing but a distant memory. Finally Nokia got around to making some changes as they have replaced their Ovi branding on their online store to just Nokia. The new and mostly blue branding is now sitting dominantly atop of their app store.

I honestly like the change and hopefully they get around to changing the URL soon because it is still http://store.ovi.com/.
